Susan Bassitt Henline 1949-2010
Susan "Sue" Jan Bassitt Henline, 61, of Lima died at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 27, 2010 at her residence. She was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Bluffton to Loren "Bill" and Margaret "Peg" Bassitt.
On Oct. 24, 1971, she married Paul Henline and he survives. Mrs. Henline had worked at Trinity Highway Products, Lima as an office/human resources manager. She was a Bluffton High School graduate and received an associate's degree in computer programming from Lima Technical College.
She is also survived by two sons, Jason (Lorie) Henline of Spencerville, Joel (Lisa) Henline of Lima; a daughter, Jodi Henline Straub of Lima; five grandchildren, T.J. Sloan, Jenna, Josh and Jenson Henline, Halley Flippin; two sisters, Sandra (Leland) Garmatter of Bluffton, Sally (Roger) Fruchey of Columbus Grove; and three brothers, Thomas "Skip" (Sharon) Bassitt of Florida, Bill (Nancy) Bassitt of California and Rick (Bonnie) Bassitt of Alabama.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Bob Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Rockport Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St.Rita's Hospice.
