Swiss Historical Society membership drive underway
The Swiss Community Historical Society invites Icon viewers to become members of the society, as a new membership drive is currently underway. A membership form is found in an attachment at the bottom of this story.
Annual memberships are $20 per household; $50 sustaining and $500 for a life member.

The society's mission statement follows:
The general purpose of the Swiss Community Historical Society is:
o to investigate and study the history of the Bluffton-Pandora community;
o to provide for the collection, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge and information about the community;
o to provide for the collection and preservation or display of papers, books, records, relics, and other things of historic interest;
o to acquire, hold, own, operate and manage property necessary or advisable for these purposes and,
o to provide for the marking and preservation of historical sites and buildings. The society is nonsectarian and nonpolitical.
