Kenneth W. Hartman 1923-2010
Kenneth W. Hartman, 87, died at 7 a.m., Dec. 2, 2010, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. He was born Jan. 29, 1923, to Oscar and Mildred (Bixel) Hartman in Los Angeles, Calif. On Dec. 24, 1950, he married Rhodora Warkentin and she survives.
Mr. Hartman retired from the water department fro the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He was a member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church,
Also surviving are a daughter, Peggy (Gary) Bennett, Perryburg, daughter, Carol (Bob) Roszman, Findlay, son, Tom (Cheryl) Hartman, Columbus, and a son, Fred (Lisa) Hartman, Rochester Hills, Mich.
Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive as does a brother Harold (Kate) Hartman, Goshen, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon.
A funeral service is at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 6, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton. Rev. Dick Potter will officiate.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Contributions may go to the Ebenezer Mennonite Church mission fund.
