Who will kiss the pig?
Trinity Lutheran School has been doing a community service learning project. The students are collecting new books to be distributed to needy families in Hancock County.
An activity centered around the book "Charlotte's Web" is being conducted with the students in grades 1-4 with Mrs. Zerby and Mr. Dustin Frey, a grad-student from BGSU.
On Dec. 3 "Fun on the Farm" activities will be conducted in the school gym. Frey will be bringing live pigs for the students to observe. As a fun activity for the students and to go along with the school service project there will be having a "Kissing the Pig Contest."
Students have brought in money and placed it in the container of the teacher they would like to see kiss a pig. The money collected will go to the service project to buy new books. The teacher will be kissing the pig Dec. 3 at 11:30 a.m.
