4,308 hours of donated time in 2010
Over 230 volunteers donated 4,308 hours of time to the Mennonite Memorial Home in 2010, according to Mary Ann Ring, MMH volunteer coordinator.
"MMH volunteers are a special group of people who simply love what they do," said Ring.
Each month volunteers help with may of the activities held at Mennonite Home. The following list demonstrates special events involving volunteers in 2010.
January - Christmas take down
March - Soup and sandwich supper
April - Women's Service Group bake sale and ice cream social
June - Strawberry festival
July - Patriotic picnic
August - Allen County Fair
September - Fall festival
November - Women's Service Group bake sale, Christmas decorating
December - Family-resident potluck
