Two new bloggers join Bluffton Icon - themes are baseball and kitchen economics
The Bluffton Icon welcomes two new bloggers to its site.
Lyle Arnold's blog is "Dugoutsteps."
He describes his blog and himself this way:
Being born in the country, just outside of Beaverdam, I had ample opportunity to play outside. This helped lead to my love of baseball. It also helped that my brother, Mark, became my Little League baseball coach. We didn't have a great team in Beaverdam, but we did
have a lot of fun.
I moved to Pataskala, Ohio, my freshman year. From there I went on to The Ohio State University at Newark, where I played baseball for three years and was named All-Ohio. After my playing days, I stayed in the Newark area.
I returned to Allen County in 2006, and moved just outside Bluffton in the Fall of 2010. I am currently President-Elect of the Lima Kiwanis Club.
Emily Britton's blog is: The Kitchen Economist
She describes her blog and herself this way:
Mother of two and a Bluffton resident. Originally from the Columbus area, moved here in October.
In my spare time, I play with my kids, read, garden and bake bread. Enjoy eating out (on a budget, of course!), talking, shopping and just walking around Bluffton.
I am a work at home mom (WAHM) and a full time college student. I love to write and it excites me to pass on information to others; It's nice to be useful. Our family has decided to do all that we can to cut back on our grocery budget. Follow me on my journey and hopefully I can help you do the same!
The Icon has an open invitation to viewers who blog.
