Evelyn F. Everett 1928-2011
Evelyn F. Everett, 82 of Bluffton died at 12:10 p.m. Feb. 20, 2011, at Hilty Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born Nov. 7, 1928 in Mt. Cory, Ohio to Harry and Erma (Kroske) Steinman. On Feb. 2, 1948 she married Lyle Everett and he died March 22, 1999.
Mrs. Everett had worked at the Glove Factory in Bluffton and was also a Lima News carrier agent for over 30 years. She was a Mt. Cory High School graduate.
Survivors include two sons Robert (Pamela) Everett of Bluffton, Randy (Jamie) Everett of Glandorf; two daughters Jane Leaveck of Pandora, Jana (Wayne) Huber of Bluffton; 12 grandchildren Cory Huber, Colton Everett, Mackenzie Everett, Chloe Everett, Leigh Everett, Lindsay Huber, Brandon Huber, Megan Huber, Brad Smith, Kimberly Eachus, Kristen Everett and Adam Everett; seven great grandchildren; one brother, William Steinman of Findlay; and a sister-in-law Treva Steinman of Findlay.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Jean Smith; a son Richard Everett; two infant grandchildren; four brothers Melvin Steinman, Vernon Steinman, Earl Steinman and Ora Steinman; and four sisters Mary Steinman, Nellie Higgins, Margaret Hermon and Grace Yantis.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Pastor Rick Hart officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
