Local organization: A Lotta Love Pet Rescue fund drive underway
A local dog and cat rescue group, A Lotta Love Pet Rescue, is in the midst of its annual fund drive.
"All contributions are tax deductible in full," said David Baumgartner of Bluffton, who is member of the organization. A Lotta Love Pet rescue is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization."
He added: "Since we have no paid employees every cent goes to help the cats and dogs and to enable us to operate our two special programs. These are a low-cost subsidized and discounted program with Metz Petz Veterinary Clinic in Ada for the spay/neuter of feral cats and a program to distribute free pet food to those less fortunate who use the West Ohio and Bluffton Food Pantry."
