June Marie Hauenstein Ludwig Ericson 1928-2011
June Marie Hauenstein Ludwig Ericson, 82, of Tucson and formerly of Bluffton, died April 6, 2011, at her residence in Tucson. She was born Dec. 31, 1928, in Bluffton to Clyde and Mary (Sutter) Hauenstein.
Mrs. Ericson was a sales manager for American Family Life, Insurance retiring in 1995. She was a member of B.P.O.E. #54 Lima, American Legion Auxiliary Post 96, Lima, where she was a past president. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School.
She moved to Arizona in 1996. She was also a member of B.P.O.E # 2532, Tucson, American Legion Post 36, Tucson and the Tucson Women's Club participating in many charitable events serving the Tucson community.
She attended Christ Community Church, Tucson.
Survivors include two daughters Ginger Liebrecht of Tucson, Ariz.,, Peggy (Jack) Skeen of Stansbury Park, Utah; two sons Michael (Lynn) Ericson of Altoona, Iowa, Robert (Brenda) Ericson of Spencerville.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four brothers Earl Dean (Dora) Hauenstein of Lima, Dwight (Lucille) Hauenstein of Lakeview, Richard (Joyce) Hauenstein of Bluffton, Gerald (Rosie) Hauenstein of Beaverdam, and a sister Dolores Hanlin of Lima.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday April 12, 2011, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bluffton.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one half hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 223 W. College Ave., Bluffton, Ohio 45817.
