Alpha Smallwood 1930-2011
Alpha Smallwood, 81 of Bluffton died at 10:45 a.m. April 12, 2011 at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born March 4, 1930 in Clay County, Kentucky to Charles and Avis (Napier) Roberts. She married James "Slick" Smallwood and he preceded her in death.
Alpha was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons Eugene (Shirley) Smallwood, Marvin (Jane) Smallwood, Ted (Pam) Smallwood; six grandchildren LaDonna (Alan) O'Nan, Anthony Smallwood, Jason Smallwood, Chris (Adriane) Smallwood, Charlie Smallwood and Willie Smallwood; nine great grandchildren Kyle, Ethan, Jacob, Tiffany, Wyatt, Reygin, Blake, Brooklyn and Braxston.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
