Daryl E. Hartman 1928-2011
Daryl E. Hartman, 82 of Bluffton died April 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born Aug. 28, 1928 in Bluffton to Wilbur and Alberta (Basinger) Hartman. He married Mary Jane Marquart and she survives.
He was a journeyman electrician at Warren Electric, Lima and was a farmer. He was a life long member of Bethel Church of Christ, Ada. He enjoyed restoring tractors and showing them at antique tractor shows.
He graduated from Mt. Cory High School.
Survivors also include two sons Terry (Jody) Hartman of Northwood, Ohio, Timothy Hartman of Findlay; two daughters Pamela (Gordon) Nessler of Jenera and Sue Hartman of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a brother Clyde (Mary Alice) Hartman of Bluffton.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Harrison Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, Orange Twp. - Bluffton.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.
