Lynn E. Carmack 1933-2011
Lynn E. Carmack, 77, formerly of Bluffton, died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at The Laurels of Massillon. He was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late George and Edna (Messer) Carmack.
Following his studies at Ohio Northern, he served in the Army. While in the service, he formed a quartet and entertained at numerous military bases.
For many years he was employed at Triplett Corp. and then moved to the Massillon area. He was a salesman for S & B Fasteners and then started his own company, Always Best Fasteners in Massillon.
Mr. Carmack retired in 2009. He is a member of Bluffton Lodge F & AM #432.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol Carmack: their children, Anthony (Vicki) Carmack, Larry (Sherri) Carmack, Lisa (Mike) Benroth, Tamara (Jim) Williams, Cynthia (Tony) Jamison, Bill (Kerstin) Hiser, Garry (Julie) Hiser, and Angelique Hiser; grandchildren, Anthony, Ashley, Emily, Joshua, Jason, Heather, Kristin, Michael, Kami, Audre, Josh, Jessica, Joseph, Steven, Sarah, Billy, James, Brandon, Kylie, Cassidy and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Aaden, Sophia and Madison and two more on the way; a sister, Carol Luke and her children, Amy and Jason.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Perry Twp. with Rev. Wayne Scott officiating.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
