Hospital Auxiliary Hearts and Hands Campaign underway
Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary's Hearts and Hands Campaign is underway, offering Icon viewers several ways to participate.
Marty Lemley, Auxiliary president, said, "Last year through generous support of the campaign and through Auxiliary fundraisers we were able to give $15,000 for the Surgery/Emergency Room expansion at Bluffton Hospital."
The Auxiliary has pledged $75,000 over a five-year period. The Auxiliary invites viewers to give a monetary donation toward the project.
"Your donation can be on behalf or in memory, honor or recognition of a loved one," she said. "For donations received now through May 27 names of those to be recognized will be displayed at the hospital until July 4."
Lemley added: "Thank you for your contribution and continued support. You are truly a gift to our community."
In addition to monetary donations, Icon viewers are invited to become volunteers, auxiliary members, help with bake sales, join the gift shop committee and help with fund raising projects.
More information is available at the hospital by calling 419-369-2302.
A printer-friendly donation form is available at the bottom of this story.
