BHS boys 2nd; BHS girls 3rd at regional track meet; softball team bows out in regional semis
What a week for Pirate sports! The BHS boys' track team finished second and the girls third in the Division III regional track meet in Tiffin on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Cinderella BHS girls' softball team competed in its first-ever trip to the Division IV softball regionals, losing to an undefeated Felicity-Franklin 8 to 0 at Tipp City.
Interesting to note that the boys' track team also finished in second place in the district behind Liberty Benton. In the regionals, LB finished fourth. Meanwhile, BHS girls finished fourth in the districts, which demonstrates the strength of the district that Bluffton advanced from.
