Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, accepting registrations for fall pre-school
Hilty Home of Pandora announces that is it accepting registrations for its fall pre-school. The Center provides Child Care for children of employees and children of the community.
"It is a unique opportunity to have an intergenerational program for both the children and the residents of the nursing home and assisted living," said Joy Reichenbach, administrator.
She added: According to Child Magazine studies have shown that when older people spend time with children they feel more optimistic about the future, take better care of themselves, and feel a greater sense of purpose. In turn, kids benefit from the time and nurturing older people can provide.
The Center is licensed to care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Breakfast and lunch are provided as well as nutritious morning and afternoon snacks.
The Center is open from 5:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. For more information contact the Hilty Child Care Center at 419-384-3220. Hilty Home is an Icon advertiser.
