Community worship service 9 a.m. on Presbyterian Church lawn
"O God Our Help in Ages Past, Our Hope for Years to Come," is the theme of the Bluffton community worship service, held in conjunction with the sesquicentennial celebration on Sunday, June 26, at 9 a.m. on the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn.
Through prayer and praise, Scripture readings, confession, and vignettes by representatives of the historic faith traditions in Bluffton, the community will be invited to give thanks for God's blessings of the past 150 years, even as we look forward to the future.
Special music and instrumental accompaniment will be provided by a communtiy chorus under the direction of Mark Suderman, and by area church musicians.A special offering of canned goods and/or paper products/toiletries will be collected for the Bluffton Community Assistance Food Pantry.
The service is sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association. If you have any questions, please contact pastor Kevin Mohr, 419-358-2591 or [email protected].
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER THE SERVICE WILL BE HELD IN THE FIRST MENNONITE CHURCH SANCTUARY.
