Robert Stocking 1921-2011
Robert M. Stocking, 89 of Bluffton and formerly of Brook Park, Ohio, died at 3:20 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born August 7, 1921, in Cleveland to Milan and Leah (Dumm) Stocking. On Sept. 11, 1954 he married Annie Unwin and she survives in Bluffton and formerly in Brook Park.
He was a driver/salesman for Lee Pet Supply and Service Pets Supplies. He had attended at Lakewood Presbyterian Church, Lakewood. He was an Army Air Corps veteran serving in World War II in Scotland and later served in the Air Force Reserves during the Korean Conflict.
He graduated from Lakewood High School and then from the Ohio State University.
Survivors also include a daughter Debra (Robert) Beer of Bluffton; a son Robin (Coleen) Stocking of Everett, Wash.; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a brother Theodore (Virginia) Stocking of Lakewood.
Mr. Stocking's cremated remains will be interred in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River, Ohio.
