Diana G. Dillman 1947-2011
Diana G. Dillman, 64 of Bluffton died at 6 p.m. June 28, 2011 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born March 20, 1947 in Sharpsburg, Kentucky, to Cecil "Pete" Walters and Elizabeth Robinson Cole.
On Sept. 3, 1965 she married James Dillman who survives.
She was previously co-owner at the Village Cut n Curl, Bluffton. She had also been a dental assistant at Dr. Huss's office, Bluffton and worked in customer service at Sam's Club, Lima. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Bluffton. She was a 1966 graduate of Bluffton High School and Findlay Cosmetology School.
Survivors also include three sisters Tammy (Roger) Cole Gowens of Fort Smith, Arkansas, C. Ann (H.K) Cunningham, of Stanton, Kentucky, and Eva June (Bob) Friel of Louisville, Kentucky; and two sisters-in-law Marylin (Rich) Basinger of Bluffton, Ohio and Diane (Jim) Elshire of Wapakoneta, Ohio. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Treva (Dillman) Suter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gary Cole. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Steven J. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
