Volunteers and sponsors - the secret of a successful Bluffton event
If you've ever wondered what it takes to put on a Bluffton event, read on: It takes volunteers. Lots of them. It also takes sponsors. Lots of them, too.
Bob Amstutz of the Bluffton Lions provide the following details of what exactly is needed to put on the the 44th Festival of Wheels and Cruise-in.
Amstutz told The Icon: "We strive to make it a better show each year. It takes a lot of volunteers to make it a success. The weather has a lot to do with but the volunteers are the main factor. The Bluffton Lions are very grateful to all the following people who helped with our car show. Some are not members of the Bluffton Lions, but help because they are also interested in cars and to support the community. We thank you all and are very grateful for your participation.
"We also want to thank all the sponsors that support us year after year. They help us with the expenses of advertising the Festival, and it also gives Bluffton and area businesses name recognitions."
