Gary Crawfis offers this report on the world's longest garage sale
Concerning the world's longest garage sale that took place this past weekend. (Lincoln Highway garage sale). Here's an interesting note from Gary Crafis of Beaverdam, reporting on the event:
Thanks again for listing our garage sale on the icon this past weekend. The past two years we have put up a map and asked the garage- salers where they live, and highlighted their town.
Here's a picture of the map from this year's sale. We had someone from nearly every region of Ohio again this year. This year's tally included 61 Ohio towns and nine other states.
States included:
Ohio,
Michigan,
Georgia,
Florida,
South Carolina,
North Carolina,
California,
Indiana,
Iowa,
Kentucky.
Many interesting stories of the people coming to look at our junk/ their treasure were told. We talked to a few of the garage-salers who use their vacation from work and drive down a good stretch of the highway.
