Busy time for Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs
Several positive things are happening through Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs this summer. The Center's current newsletter is attached to this story for further information.
Here's what's happening with BCE clients:
Superior Energy Solutions: Hired summer intern Steven Maag, an Electrical Engineering student from Ohio Northern University. SES is also taking applications for the new position of Energy Analyst.
KTL Fabrication: Hired sales representative Mike Lammer, who is demonstrating the Berm Roller to all major construction companies in the state of Ohio.
Drive Time Driving: Expanded staff to include five part-time instructors, in addition to owners Doug and Sara Kisseberth, who provide instruction and administrative support.
BCE's annual meeting is Friday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 a.m. in the third floor of the town hall. Its annual art auction fund-raiser is Saturday, Nov. 12, at The Centre. A new color wall calendar will feature artworks offered at the art auction.
The Nov. 12 event will include some 20-30 pieces of art and be attended by up to 250 prospective bidders, many of whom will necessarily go home empty-handed. The calendar will provide a new means of connecting buyers and participating artists.
To purchase tickets or request information about art submissions, contact Paula Scott or Dick McGarrity.
A business plan workshop is tentatively set in the town hall for Friday morning, Oct. 14, following the chamber breakfast.
