Edward C. and Margaret (Peg) Murphy of 314 County Line Road, Bluffton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 4, at Bluffton St Mary's Church. The couple request gifts be omited.

Ed and Peg Immele were married at Tiffin St Joseph Church on Sept. 2, 1961. Msgr. Richard Gabel officiated.

The Murphys are parents of three children, Kevin (Fay), Lima, Kathy (Paul) Cramer, Dunkirk and Philip, Bluffton. They have three grandchildren, Mike and Kylie Murphy and Josh Cramer.

Ed retired from Apollo Career Center and the Ohio National Guard. Peg retired from Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton and St Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
