One of last year's tractors on display

Exhibitors wanted for Maple Crest 2nd Annual Antique Tractor show.

Maple Crest Senior Living Village seeks a few good antique tractors. The senior living village is preparing for its second annual antique tractor show on Saturday, Sept. 24. The show will take place during the Bluffton Fall Festival.

Maple Crest extends an invitation to persons who have antique tractors or engines to exhibit their antiques. Last year among tractors shown included a 1944 John Deer D, a 1939 Minneapolis Moline Model R Cab Tractor, an engine made in Bluffton and other antiques.

The tractor show will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. along with other events including a kiddy tractor pull, quilt show, fishing derby and local entertainment.

There will be plenty of trailer space available, for those who are interested. Registration is encouraged and the first 30 participants will receive a free meal and gift bag. There are no registration fees.

The Fall Festival also features:

o historical events at the Swiss Heritage Farm,

o a health fair at BFR,

o horse and wagon rides,

o flower show and events at Mennonite Home,

o tours of Suter's cider press,

o and many other activities downtown Bluffton.
