BHS girl 5-1 after beating Bath
Coach Jesse Sensenig's Bluffton High School girls' tennis team edged Bath 3-2 Tuesday afternoon at Harmon Field courts to up its season record to 5-1.
Emily Sprague and Kristi Geiser took straight set decisions at No. 2 and 3 singles, respectively. Sprague upped her season mark to 7-1, while Geiser is 6-2.
Ashlin Gable, playing one of the area's top individuals, lost 7-5, 6-1 to Emily Ruhe. She is 6-3 against the opponent's top singles players this fall.
Shannon Koch and Shaye Liddick provided the winning team margin with a two-set win at No. 1 doubles, while Rachel Sehlhorst and Dynasty Martin were edged out in a three-set marathon at No. 2.
