Verba A. Habegger - 1928-2011
Verba A. Habegger, 83, of Bluffton died at 5:55 a.m. Sept. 8, 2011 at her son's residence near Bluffton. She was born Aug. 14, 1928 in Findlay to Vincent and Doris Johnson Fisher. On May 4, 1951 she married Wayne W. Habegger and he survives.
Mrs. Habegger was a homemaker. For the last 28 years she and her husband wintered in Winter Haven, Fla.
Survivors also include four children, Eric (Cynthia) Habegger of Findlay, Debra (John) Feasel of Vero Beach, Fla., Joe (Margi) Habegger of Bluffton, Sandra (Brent) Hare of Green Bay, Wisc., seven grandchildren, Amy (Matt) Amstutz, Rachel Habegger, Jacob (Kate) Habegger, Laura (Roy) Webb, Jeff (Melissa Phillips) Bogner, Jessica Hare, Dillon Hare, three step grandchildren, Nick (Rachael) Fisher, Justin (Angie) Feasel, Ryan (Nicole) Feasel, eight great grandchildren and a sister, Maxine (Jack) Holden of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Fisher, and two brothers, Truman and Max Fisher.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Mt. Cory. Chaplain Kathie Tomazic will officiate.
Burial will be in Clymer Cemetery, Mt Cory. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
