Alan and Diann Yoder celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Dr. Alan and Diann Yoder, 174 Sunset Dr., Bluffton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 17.
The couple was married Sept. 17, 1961, at First Mennonite Church, Berne, Ind., by Rev. John Sprunger.
Diann graduated from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, Ft. Wayne, Ind., in 1961. She retired from nursing at Bluffton Hospital and at Family Eye Care Clinic, Bluffton. Alan graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry, Bloomington, Ind., in 1965. He is an optometrist at Family Eye Care Clinic, 107 N. Main St., Bluffton.
The Yoders have two children, Dr. Mark (Julie) Yoder and Michel (Rebecca) Yoder. They have six grandchildren: Paul, David and Rachel of Bluffton; and Austin, Alex and Ashlyn, Indianapolis., Ind.
An anniversary celebration includes a family vacation later this year.
