BHS girls' tennis: Another 5-0 whitewash; win streak extends to 9
By Ron Geiser
Another 5-0 whitewash by the Bluffton High School girls' tennis team upped its winning streak to nine as Fostoria High was the latest victim.
None of the three Pirate singles performers lost more than a game per set as Ashlin Gable, Emily Sprague and Kristi Geiser tallied straight set wins. All have recorded 10 or more singles victories this fall.
Shaye Liddick and Shannon Koch also had little trouble in gaining two sets, while Rachel Sehlhorst and Bronwyn Greer needed a third-set tiebreak to gain their win.
Now 9-1 in dual matches, Coach Jesse Sensenig's proteges travel to the Fostoria Invitational Saturday.
