Wilma Bucher, 1915-2011
Wilma Bucher, 95, of Pandora, died at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born Oct. 19, 1915, in Pandora to Levi and Katherine Lehman Neuenschwander.
On Jan. 14, 1983 she married Vernon Bucher and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2000. Wilma retired from Triplett Corp., Bluffton. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora and a graduate of Pandora High School.
Survivors include a stepson, Norman (Mary Ann) Bucher of Findlay, a stepdaughter, Delores Warmuth of Lima, and two sisters, Margaret Burkholder and Virginia (Eugene) Augsburger both of Lima.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Delbert, Wilbur, Vilas and Edward Neuenschwander, and two sisters, Lenna Kuntz and Minnie Steiner.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora. Rev. Dennis Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Mennonite Church or Putnam County Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
