Icon enhances its sports coverage with improved sports page, addition of Troy Breidenbach photos
Icon sports fans will appreciate our enhanced sports emphasis. Earlier this week The Icon launched our new and improved sports page.
The page includes several new features. These include the added coverage of Troy Breidenbach's sports photos. His photos cover all Bluffton High School sports events and several other sporting events of interest to Breidenbach.
His photo pages are easily accessible. Once viewers are on the Icon sports page, simply click on the large photo at the top of the page. That click takes viewers to his most recent photos.
For example, dozens of photos from the Bluffton-Allen East football game are already posted.
The Icon sports page is now easier to access. "Sports" is one of the options on the black information bar on the top of the Icon's home page.
The popular Icon college and high school football contests are also on the sports page. The contests are judged by Corey Greer. We plan on posting an NFL weekly playoff contest later this season. In addition, we'll have a college football bowl contest. We plan on adding an NFL contest next season.
The page is continually under construction. Some additional features in the works are schedules, rosters and other sports stories.
