Bluffton chamber announces fall breakfast topics and workshops co-sponsored by BCE
Several fall Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce programs are in the planning stages. In addition, the chamber, in conjunction with Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs, is beginning to add workshops covering specific topics, which follow some of the monthly breakfast meetings.
This month's chamber breakfast speaker is Greg Conkling. Greg's Pharmacy celebrates its 25th anniversary this month. Conkling will speak at the Friday, Oct. 14, chamber breakfast in the third floor of the town hall. A free breakfast, served by Richland Manor is served at 7 a.m. The meeting starts at 7:30 a.m.
The breakfast is open to the public. RSVPs are required at [email protected].

Fall-winter 2011-12 Chamber-BCE workshops
Nov. 11 - Quickbooks, led by Julie Bankert of J. Bankert Bookkeeping, LLC. In addition, tentatively scheduled, is a session on taxes.
Dec. 9 - Navigating the world of workforce information, led by Christopher Granata, Workforce Specialist, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Findlay.
Feb. 10 - Intellectual property and technology law, led by Jake Ward, registered patent attorney, firm of Fraser, Clemens, Martin & Miller, Toledo.
Each workshop is free to chamber and BCE members. Workshops start at approximately 8:45 a.m., following the chamber breakfast.
Workshops last from 1 hour to 90 minutes and are held in the third floor of the town hall. Persons who are not members of the chamber or BCE may attend at a nominal fee.
