Shannon Theatre and Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Co., will hold its third annual customer appreciation day Saturday, Nov. 5, according to Pete and Kim Suter.

The event includes:

- Story time for children at 10 a.m. (every child gets a free book)
- Popcorn eating contest at 11 a.m. (win free popcorn for an entire year)
- All concessions at the theatre are only $1 each, all day long
- Spend $10 or more at Shirley's, and receive a free $5 gift card
- Great BOGO free deals on popcorn at Shirley's all day long
- Prize drawings at both businesses all day long
