What year did you graduate from BHS?
2000.

Where do you live, what do you do?
I live in Columbus and currently work for Rogue Fitness, which my husband owns. (www.roguefitness.com )

When was the last time you ran into someone from Bluffton while you were in Columbus?

Just last week. I ran into Abigail Cherry in a restaurant.

Being a former OSU athlete, can you tell us what kind of pressure athletes in Division I experience, concerning the recent revelation with the OSU football team?

Being a Division 1 athlete carries all kinds of pressure. You have pressure to do well in the classroom, the pressure to become the best athlete you can be, and the pressure to make all the right decisions outside of those two arenas.

Some people are not ready for that pressure when they get to that level, and they choose the wrong path. Everyone grows up while in college, some athletes just do so in the spotlight that they may or may not be ready for.

Can you name your all-time top basketball game experience? Who was it against and why do you rate it this way?
My top three:

o Making it to the state finals my senior year at Bluffton High School. It was a great way to end an awesome four years.

o Winning the Gold Medal in the Junior World Championships. A great experience standing on the podium hearing the National Anthem.

o Last home game of my OSU career against Penn State. Sold out crowd (17,000), and a must win for the Big Ten Championship, which we got.

Do you ever think about being a coach?
I think about being a basketball coach all of the time. One of these days....

Where's your favorite place to eat in Columbus?
Tough Choice. I will give you my top five:

o Plank's on Parsons,
o Third and Hollywood,
o The Jury Room,
o Nida's Thai on High,
o Northstar Cafe

Can you remember the first BFR girls team you were on? Who was your coach?
I don't remember the team name, but my dad was the coach of my 4th grade team.

What was the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up?
The first female NBA player.

Can you remember who you sat beside in kindergarten?
Drawing a blank.

Have you seen any good movies lately?
The Art of Flight- RedBull's snowboard documentary.

Can you remember the title of your 8th grade science project?
I don't remember the title, but it was about what material kept the body the warmest.

Who is the most famous person you ever met and what were the circumstances of the meeting
A number of NBA players during my playing career that included: Kevin Garnett, Dwayne Wade and Kobe Bryant.
