Senior art exhibit opens Nov. 29
Mollie Landry and Kati Skon will showcase their artwork in their Bluffton University Senior Exhibition, opening Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Sauder Visual Arts Center. The exhibit, which continues through Dec. 13, is free and open to the public, as is a gallery reception for the artists from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.
Both Landry, from Wooster, Ohio, and Skon, from Mount Vernon, Ohio, will complete their requirements in December for graduation with bachelor's degrees in art. In the exhibit, they will display pieces they have created during their years at Bluffton, where they have each served as Art Club president.
Landry will present black and white photographs and oil and watercolor paintings, while Skon's work will include paintings, drawings and prints, as well as ceramics, sculpture, and graphic design and mixed media work.
Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
