Denise Arleen Hendricks 1938-2011
Denise Arleen Hendricks, 73, of Findlay died at 6:14 p.m. Dec. 29, 2011 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born in Hardin County on Sept. 26, 1938 to Wilmer Harry and Glenona Ruth Hathaway Badertscher and they preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hendricks retired from Lakeview Farms and had owned the Blue Note Restaurant, Lima, D's Diner, Wapakoneta and Savannah's Restaurant, Lima. She had also worked at Triplett Corp, Bluffton. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers, Lima.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Brian) Jorgensan-Sidel of Findlay, Dani (Sean) Gall of Delaware, Ohio, six grandchildren, Cory, Autumn, Crystal, Jordan, Camryn and Jase, four great grandchildren, Seriniti, Marley, David and Landon, three brothers, Ronald (Sharlee) Badertscher of Bluffton, James (Darlene) Badertscher of Leipsic, Robert (Vicki) Badertscher of Arlington, Texas, a sister, Mona (Joe) Losh of Elida, and a half brother, Michael Foster of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by a son David Eric Hendricks and a brother, Richard Badertscher.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. William Herr will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com
