2011 weather: 34 inches of snow in first 60 days of the year; temperatures ranged 108 degrees apart
In 2011 lots of us complained about the weather, but nobody did anything about it. During the 12 months just past we experienced enough weather extremes to, well, read about it.
For example, in 2011 we experienced 34 inches of snowfall in just the first 60 days of the year. We also watched the thermometer stretch 108 degrees, from a low of minus 10 to a high of 98.
But in the end the average maximum temperature and the average minimum temperatures were pretty close to the previous five-year averages.
Guy Verhoff of Pandora, provides us with a closer look at the weather of 2011. It's all on the attachment at the bottom of this story.
