Here's an interesting photo set taken in either 1955 or 1956. The location: town hall second floor (Legion Hall). The event: Bluffton Business Men's Association welcome dinner meeting for the Ex-Cell-O Corporation. That building today is owned by Colonial Surface Solutions.
Who do you recognize in the photo?
Is that Clarence or Hiram Diller looking at the camera? Two seats down is Paul Steiner, then Harold Klinger, and Charles Hankish, Sr.
SECOND PHOTO
The same event, taken from an other angle. In the very bottom left, it looks like Paul Basinger, two seats down Charles Hankish, Jr., four more seats down, Ropp Triplett and Wayne Amstutz.
In the next row we spy Ulysses Reichenbach, John Gilbert, Rev. James Heininger and Gordon Bixel. With his back to the camera is the unmistakable Wilford Geiger.
In the very next row is William "Kaiser" Gaiffe. Finally, in the row against the wall is Pauline Raid and Howard Raid.
We encourage more IDs from Icon viewers. These two photos are stamped "Neu-Art Studio Photography, Bluffton, Ohio," on their backside.
