Icon adds RSS feed so viewers may follow our classified ads
Due to its growing popularity, The Bluffton Icon now offers an RSS feed for all classified ads. The feed is available at www.blufftonicon.com/classifieds/rss.xml.
What is an RSS feed?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and is a convenient way to keep track of new content from your favorite sites or blogs. A site provides an RSS feed, and the visitor uses an RSS reader to 'subscribe' to these feeds. RSS feeds are often displayed with an orange graphic (hint: ours is above the search box, next to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube).
You can then use that RSS reader to track updates from your subscriptions. Some popular RSS readers include Google Reader, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Apple Mail, and Mozilla Firefox.
Bluffton Icon RSS feeds
The Bluffton Icon currently offers two RSS feeds: a feed for news articles, and now a feed for classifieds. The RSS feed for news articles is available at www.blufftonicon.com/rss.xml.
The classified ads feed offers a convenient way to make sure you don't miss out on any new real estate, job postings, or garage sales. Just subscribe to the classified ads feed using your favorite RSS reader.
