Centre hosts murder mystery dinner theater "Pandora's Box"
The Centre, 601 N. Main St., will host its annual spring murder mystery dinner - this year titled "Pandora's Box," at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 30, according to Brenda Gaines. This is the troupe's 11th performance at The Centre.
Hosted by Mr. E Murder Productions, "Pandora's Box" is a mystery based upon the reading of a will for a soon-to-be-dead Mortimer Lear. The heirs of Mr. Lear gather at the request of the man, who has lived as a recluse for decades.
Early-bird tickets are available now until March 15 at $35 each, two for $65 or a table of eight for $240 ($30 each), plus sales tax.
After the early-bird offer ends, tickets are $38 each, two for $72, or a table of eight for $280 ($35 each).
Gaines said that the doors open at 6 p.m. and hors d'oeuvres are served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will not be available at the door and must be purchased in advance.
The dinner menu includes:
o Marsala steak medallions
o Apple Bourbon Chicken
o Stuffed shells with Alfredo sauce
o Glazed baby carrots
o New red potatoes
o Home-style green beans
o Salad
o Dessert
o Non-alcoholic beverages
A cash bar is available
