Bluffton University musicians perform senior recitals on Saturday
Two Bluffton University musicians, both students of Dr. Adam Schattschneider, professor of music, will present their senior recitals on Saturday, March 24, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Beth McCullough, from Sherwood, Ohio, will give a flute recital at 4:30 p.m., while Kitanya Murray, from Findlay, Ohio, will perform on soprano saxophone and alto saxophone at 7:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public; a reception will follow McCullough's recital in the lobby.
Pianist Allison Ringold will accompany McCullough until her final number, "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us," when she will be accompanied by her mother, Lois.
Anna Stembler-Smith will accompany Murray, who will also be assisted on a duet by Schattschneider on alto saxophone.
Both recitals are presented in partial fulfillment of requirements for graduation, McCullough with a major in music education and Murray, with a major in music and a concentration in performance studies.
