Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio introduces "Ask the expert" series
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) has launched a new program series titled "Ask the Expert," according to Daren Lee of MHCO.
The program provides adults 55 and over in the greater Bluffton area an opportunity to speak directly to an MHCO nurse and social worker present at each session.
It is also an opportunity for persons of any age looking for counsel on how to help or get assistance for their aging parent, relative or friend. The staff present will offer guidance, counsel and referral for a broad set of topics.
"Some of the topics may include: Medicare, Medicaid, finances, long- term care insurance, health and medication related questions, a health assessment, advance directives, support groups, community- based services like transportation and mobile meals, as well as a variety of other services provided at Mennonite Memorial Home, Maple Crest and Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services," said Lee.
This free series takes place on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St., Bluffton.
The first session is Tuesday, April 10.
