How do Allen County health rankings stack up with Ohio's 87 other counties?
How do Ohio counties measure up on access to healthy foods, obesity rates, teen births, education, and single parent families, and how are these factors linked to health?
The third County Health Rankings is now available and will allow residents look at how healthy Allen County is, see what factors affect their health, and compare Allen County to others in Ohio.
A collaborative project between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, the Rankings will show which counties are the healthiest and which are the least healthy within each state. It provides an opportunity to see how well counties are doing, and where they need to improve.
Allen County Health Department staff will be available to discuss the Allen County rankings, and help explain the individual factors that make up the rankings, and how the community is working together to overcome barriers to help make Allen County healthier.
