Michael Liska March BHS student of the month
Michael Liska, senior, is the Bluffton High School student of the month for March.
He is a member of Math Club, Spanish Club, Latin Club, National Honor Society, choir, show choir, and for the past four years he served as class president and as a member of the student senate.
Michael played football and basketball. He was team captain on the football team, second team all-NWC and honorable mention all-district offensive lineman. He was selected to play in the NWC/MAC vs. WBL football game. He also was awarded the 110 Percent Award in football. As a member of the basketball team, Michael was team captain.
He was selected as the youth of the year from Bluffton High School by the Lima Exchange Club. He was nominated as a Leader of Tomorrow by the Lima News and was presented with the highest grade in Latin I and Industrial Technology I.
He has been accepted into the Honors Program at Miami (Ohio), where he plans to pursue management information systems. He is the son of David and Susan Liska, 8433 Phillips Road, Bluffton.
