The Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual volunteer recognition banquet Tuesday, April 24 beginning at noon at The Centre of Bluffton, 601 N. Main St., Bluffton. The awards ceremony will begin at 1:45 p.m.

At the event, auxiliary members will be recognized for their hours of volunteer service to the hospital. Overall, the Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary includes 88 volunteers who gave 11,305 hours to the hospital in 2011.

The theme of this year's banquet is "A World of Diversity...One Purpose." Volunteers were invited to dress representing their family heritage or a country of their choice.
