Summer mosquito spraying underway on Wednesday nights
Mosquito spraying in Bluffton started last week, according to Jamie Mehaffie, Bluffton village administrator. In his report to be made during Tuesday's Bluffton council meeting, he will note that spraying is scheduled on Wednesday evenings as needed, weather permitting.
Thursday spraying is the backup option to Wednesday. The village service department is handling the spraying. It is using a product called Duet.
Two waterline replacement projects will be advertised for bids in early June. Bid openings are scheduled for June 28. Contracts are anticipated to be awarded on July 9.
Due to Monday being Memorial Day, council moved its meeting to Tuesday. The meeting agenda is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
