Come on downtown Thursday night for a Taste of Summer
Bluffton's Taste of Summer is here and you are invited
The first of three Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce Taste of Summer programs, open to the public, will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at Luke's, 133 N. Main St.
The purpose of these events is to bring people downtown in the summer for a fun evening. It is the chamber's first step in creating a larger summer program of events with the community in mind that promotes downtown businesses.
Luke's event, which takes place on its newly remodeled patio, will provide a family atmosphere. Karaoke entertainment is planned. The menu includes new items to Luke's ever-expanding menu.
Available on Thursday are, your choice of:
o Grilled pastrami sandwiches with apple slaw on homemade bread, or
o Southwest chicken wrap with corn and bean salsa, lettuce, cheddar cheese and tomato pico ranch dressing.
As side to either dish will be a tomato/feta basil salad.
In addition to these Taste of Summer specials, the regular Luke's menu will be available.
The chamber's Taste of Summer continues in July at Jeanne's on Vine Street and in August at Common Grounds. Watch for the dates of those events.
