Janet Triplett 1950-2012
Janet S. Triplett, 61,of Bluffton died at 8:10 a.m. June 11, 2012, at her brother's residence. She was born Oct. 3, 1950, in Bluffton to J. Newlin and Elsie Mae (Hartman) Habegger. She had previously been married to Raymond Scoles and later married Charles Triplett and he survives in Lima.
Mrs. Triplett was a homemaker. She had worked at Bluffton Hospital, Bluffton Dairy Freeze, Terry's Drive-In, Bluffton News and Triplett Corporation, Bluffton. She was a member of Lima Baptist Temple and was a 1969 Bluffton High School graduate.
Survivors also include a son Jeff (Ashley) Scoles of Bluffton; three grandchildren Kenedeye, Kinzer and Kadreye Scoles; a brother Rodney (Donna) Habegger of Bluffton; two sisters Rosemary (Joe Leon) Gardner of Toledo and Jean Ann (Donald) Hover of Spring Hill, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Habegger.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Charles Warren officiating. Burial will be in Rockport Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
