CNB offers Social Security workshop; rsvps due June 15
Debbie Boisselle of The Investment Center at Citizens National Bank will present a free seminar titled "Savvy Social Security Planning," at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 20.
The event will be held at the Country Inn and Suites, 903 Interstate Drive, Findlay. Those interested in attending should RSVP by June 15 to 888-358-2442 or by email, [email protected]
The purpose of the event is to answer common questions people have before applying for Social Security and tactics to consider for maximizing those retirement benefits. During the workshop attendees will learn:
o 5 factors to consider when deciding when to apply for benefits
o When it makes sense to delay benefits - and when it does not
o Why you should always check your earnings record for accuracy
o How to estimate your benefits
o How to coordinate benefits with your spouse
o How to minimize taxes on Social Security benefits
o How to coordinate Social Security with your other sources of retirement income
The event will last approximately one hour and light refreshments will be served.
