BV Regional Cancer Center hosts look good feel better events
The Blanchard Valley Regional Cancer Center (BVRCC), 15990 Medical Drive South, Findlay, will be hosting three American Cancer Society Look Good Feel Better events throughout the remainder of 2012. The events will be held Aug. 6, Oct. 1 and Dec. 3 from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. in the BVRCC family room.
Look Good Feel Better is an American Cancer Society program that teaches beauty techniques to women who are actively undergoing cancer treatment. This program helps women combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. Each participant will receive a free makeup kit worth $250.
Registration is required and can be made by calling the American Cancer Society at 1.800.227.2345. This toll-free number is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
