Two feature movies shows in August at Bluffton Public Library
Bluffton Public Library is featuring two popular films in August for adults and teens. The Thursday, Aug. 9, movie is rated PG, begins promptly at 6 p.m. and runs 107 minutes. It is based on a true story about folks putting differences aside to come together to try to save a family of gray whales trapped by ice.
Free tickets for this film are available at the library's circulation desk while they last.
On Thursday, Aug. 23, a PG-13 rated film will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and run 142 minutes. A parent or guardian must attend with children under 13.
The film is based on the first book of a popular teen trilogy where the Capitol selects a boy and girl from the 12 districts to fight on live television. Free tickets for the August 23 film will be available beginning Aug. 6.
Both films will be shown on a six-foot screen in the Richland Room at Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St. Guests may bring their own snacks and a comfortable lawn chair if desired. Free popcorn and bottled water will be provided to ticketholders.
Due to contract restrictions, titles may not be published outside of the library. For more information, please visit the library or call 419-358-5016.
