Bridge Home Health & Hospice offering 24th annual Living Through Loss Series
Bridge Home Health & Hospice is offering its 24th annual Living Through Loss educational series. The eight-month series will focus on the issues surrounding the death of a loved one. Sessions will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital, 1900 South Main Street, Findlay. Dates and topics include:
October 15: “The Journey Through Grief: What to Expect Along the Way”
Presented by Kathryn J. Foust of Lighthouse Counseling Services
November 19: “Facing the Holidays After a Loss”
Presented by the Bridge Hospice bereavement staff
December 17: “Family Dynamics of Grief”
Presented by Linda J. Stockton of Inner Peace Counseling
January 14: “Understanding Depression in Grief”
Presented by Betsy Klein of Stepping Stones Counseling Center
February 11: “The Food and Mood Connection”
Presented by Kerry Kirk of Meaningful Wellness
March 18: “Moving Through Grief”
Moderated by Amber Wolfrom of Bridge Hospice
April 15: “Grief and Tough Topics”
Presented by Carmen Cupples of Pathways Christian Counseling
May 20: “Healing and Reconciliation”
Presented by a panel of bereaved men and women
Most presentations will be followed by a professionally facilitated group discussion. Participation in the group discussion is optional.
